Angela Cunningham

Angela brings over 15 years of finance experience to HSP and focuses on searches across levels, with an emphasis on senior level mandates. During her career, Angela developed a deep expertise in manager research within the alternative assets arena. Through her various positions, she was responsible for analyzing and evaluating the skills and talent of the portfolio managers, analysts and operations staff responsible for running the investment companies she researched. Prior to joining HSP, Angela was the Executive Director of portfolio management at Winchester Capital, where she managed the firm’s growing secondaries portfolio. She was previously the Director of Research at a large family office where she developed the firm’s Asian portfolio strategies. She also acquired extensive experience with fund of funds while at Spruce Private Investors where she managed the launch of nine fund of funds covering private equity, real estate, energy and hedge fund strategies. Angela’s foray into finance came at the Princeton University endowment, where she performed due diligence on international equity and hedge fund managers. Angela received a B.A. cum laude in Economics and a B.A. cum laude in French from Tufts University. She later obtained her Masters in Business Administration from the Yale School of Management and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
